10 Ιουν 2017 · I have tried to reset the GFCI and get a real fast green light flash on the outlet but it will not reset. None of the breakers are tripped. I do not see any bad fuses.
4 Ιαν 2024 · Tim stated: A GFCI won’t reset if it doesn’t have power. What else isn’t working? It’s possibly 50a shore power and they lost one leg of incoming power. A comment on Tim’s post from Ken: You are correct, Tim. In the original question the person stated, “I do not have AC voltage coming to the GFCI.” Without AC power the GFCI will never reset.
3 Νοε 2023 · If there is power to the back of the outlet but no power at the front and you have properly tripped and reset the outlet with the buttons on the front it would appear as if the GFCI is bad. Yes they do go bad. The simplest test is to replace the outlet if there is power to the back of the outlet.
20 Απρ 2020 · If the GFI will not reset, disconnect wire on Load side then try again. If it resets then your problem is down the line. You have to trace wire to the devices down the line and inspect each 1 until you find the problem.

We were at St Augustine North Beach Camp Resort, (great place BTW) and we noticed the GFIC outlets weren't working. Plugged in on-shore power with an adapter down to 30amp. No biggie I thought, I'll order one and replace when I get home.
