2 Ιουν 2024 · I have a 2003 dutchstar with a low voltage issue at the 7 way plug. 8.9 volts spent 3 days trying to figure it out. Got fed up and run a separate power wire from battery. Now have 14.3 volts at plug.
13 Νοε 2018 · We are going to start flat towing a Honda CRV with a 2004 Fleetwood Flair. The RV shop where we're having the work done asked if the motorhome has a charge line to the back of the unit for keeping the toad's battery charged. We've had some snow so I don't want to take the RV to the shop right now.
10 Σεπ 2013 · The charge line is just a way to make sure that your battery stays charged in whatever you are towing. It applies more to trailers or to towed cars that have a brake system that depends on battery power to activate the "Toad's" brakes and is subject to depleting the battery in the Toad.
8 Νοε 2019 · If not your +12V pin should be the one at the 2:30 position. The 12V ground pin is directly across the plug at the 7:30 position. Put your meter probes on these 2 pins to check power. Then, if you have charge power at that position with the coach engine running, go to the end of your coach/toad line and check corresponding pins.
2 Οκτ 2021 · In this video we install a charge line kit to charge the towed vehicle using the RV as our power source. We also install a diode kit to resolve an issue with the charge line backfeeding to the rest of the electrical system.
18 Ιουν 2023 · I have a 2020 forest river class C. Mercedes engine and sprinter chassis. When I tow my 2020 jeep Cherokee, the battery goes dead, I need help running a charging Line from the motor home to the toad.
22 Ιουν 2019 · There is a 12V power line in the 7-point connector for the RV to the toad. You can run a line from that to the car's battery, you just need a fuse and a diode to prevent reverse flow. Ours also has an on/off switch to turn it off when not in use.
