SNAP E&T is an Employment and Training program offered by the Department for Community Based Services (DCBS) available in all 120 counties. SNAP is the nutrition assistance program formerly known as food stamps. All SNAP recipients age 16 to 59 are eligible to participate.
Kentucky Career Centers (KCCs) manage the Employment & Training (E&T) part of the SNAP E&T program. This means that KCC staff help SNAP recipients who have a work requirement search for jobs, find training and education opportunities, and find work that help them meet their SNAP work requirement.

5 Μαρ 2024 · The SNAP E&T program helps SNAP participants gain skills and find work that moves them forward to self-sufficiency. Through SNAP E&T, SNAP participants have access to training and support services to help them enter or move up in the workforce.

Emergency Shelter & Outreach - The Hope Center - Lexington, KY. The Emergency Shelter operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and houses adult men experiencing homelessness. The shelter can house up to 200 men each night, with increased capacity during the winter months.
