Safe Mode is a diagnostic mode that enables you to use Windows with basic drivers. If you encounter problems in Windows, restarting in Safe Mode allows you to continue working and to troubleshoot the problem. The Safe Mode feature does not install any software.
21 Φεβ 2016 · 1. With the external monitor connected, boot into safe mode, then disable the internal monitor in device manager. Reboot (with the external monitor still connected). If ths does not work, disable also the display adapter and reboot. Now you should now have a display on the external monitor. See same post here.
14 Δεκ 2017 · If the laptop screen is broken so that it won't display at all, then you'll not be able to see what's going on in Boot or Repair mode unless you repair or replace the screen. Sometimes this is only as difficult as disassembling the laptop to reconnect the screen's wire harness, or replacing it.
