Abel Niépce de Saint-Victor. French, 1805–1870. View all works on Photogravure.com. The cousin of the pioneer of the medium, Joseph Nicéphore Niépce, Abel Niépce de Saint-Victor was originally famous in photography for having developed photographic negatives made of albumen on glass.

Joe toy line, from the artwork and graphic design of the packaging to the character design and sculpting of the figures (for the first several series there were very few duds!), and the thought put into each character's biography are unsurpassed in the realm of American toys.
