Which test is used in Minnesota? Minnesota is currently a GED® 2014-only state for high school equivalency testing purposes. Other states may offer a different test or combinations of tests for this purpose. Who is eligible to test? Anyone 19 or older may test in Minnesota with appropriate ID.
How can I get a GED? You will need to take the test by registering at the official GED website: https://ged.com/. You can take the test at a registered testing center, or, in some states, online in your home. Find the in-person testing center closest to you by using this GED test center locator.
To see if you can get accommodations, you need to submit a request on your GED.com account. In your application, you must include medical documentation and/or evaluations of your condition (s). Use one of the four Documentation and Evaluation Guidelines to learn what documents to submit with your accommodation request.
The GED (General Education Development) test is available to students with all types of disabilities or disadvantages. Before students can apply for special accommodations, they will need to present documentation of disabilities to the test administrator.
