It's possible the phone just needs the OS reflashed, but it could also be hardware related. They will be able to tell for sure and provide you options to get this issue resolved.

A fix that worked for me is to turn on AOD when the screen goes back to normal or if you can somehow still use link to PC to control it. Somehow with AOD on the problem went away and I am still using the phone normally.
