The SDSU Center for Autism provides diagnostic assessments and evaluations for individuals with autism spectrum disorders, across the lifespan. We provide evaluations for toddlers, children, teens, and adults who have, or are thought to be at-risk for, an autism spectrum disorder.
The Autism Discovery Institute provides the following services: Clinical Services. Clinical services at ADI are available through health insurance. Most services are billed under mental health or behavioral health benefits. ADI is currently in-network with Aetna, United Health Care/Optum, and Tricare.
The SDSU Center for Autism is an interdisciplinary group of researchers and clinical scientists focusing on improving the lives of children, adolescents, and adults with autism spectrum and related disorders.
San Diego Regional Center (SDRC) also provides assessment and services for children who meet their criteria for autistic disorder. Some children with behavioral difficulties who do not meet full criteria for autistic disorder may also sometimes qualify for services. Contact SDRC at 858-576-2996.
