This Aluminum Wall Thimble with 4 Inch Inner Diameter from the Round Gas Vent series is a Type B gas component and consists of the duralock system for a tight seal. Use for through-the-wall system to provide clearances for vent from combustibles.
This 4" wall thimble is rigid pipe, using Category III Stainless Steel. The 4" wall thimble is adjustable from 4" up to 7" depending on your wall thickness. A wall thimble is used when the vent passes through a combustible horizontal opening.
Condensate Tube Installation: The Z-Flex Silicone Tube Kit contains: 3/8 inch ID tube (various lengths), 1 hose (wire) clamp ½ inch, 2 cable ties. When installing the condensate tube be sure to make a trap by forming at least a 3 inch (75 mm) diameter loop and secure with cable tie.
