On March 15, 2023, the City of Santa Paula City Council adopted Ordinance No. 1327, implementing a by-district election system of five City Councilmembers. The map below was selected along with its election sequence: Districts 1 and 5 are up for election in 2024, and Districts 2, 3 and 4 up for election in 2026.

A new district map was selected along with its election sequence: Districts 1 and 5 are up for election in 2024, and Districts 2, 3 and 4 up for election in 2026.

On March 15, 2023, the Santa Paula City Council adopted an ordinance establishing the City’s first City Council district map and district-based elections. The new five-district map can be reviewed online at DrawSantaPaula.org/Selected-Map.
The Santa Paula City Council is comprised of 5 members elected at-large to serve staggered 4-year terms. Beginning in November 2024, the City will transition to by-district elections whereby voters will vote for one councilmember who lives in their district.
