In total, 121 whole-body 18F-FDG PET-CT scans were performed in 110 patients with a clinical suspicion of neurosarcoidosis (Table). The initial 18F-FDG PET-CT findings were abnormal in 69 of 110 patients (63%), and 24 of 110 patients (22%) had abnormalities suggestive of sarcoidosis.
