26 Μαρ 2021 · Remove one plug wire, place a bolt or other conductor in the connector, set so that conductor is about 1/4" from a grounded metal surface, crank the engine with a remote switch or helper, and see if a good blue spark jumps the gap. The problem may be elsewhere, including fuel problems.

have you check power to the coil with the key on and cranking? Ignition switch. Test it on the battery, as long as you get 12 volts your golden. Then test for 12 volts at the coil with the key on. If you got that , take the coil wire input off the distributor and see if you get a spark off the block ( and not get lit up) only hurts a bit lol.
23 Ιουλ 2011 · We figured it had to do with water getting into some part of the ignition system, but we have replaced almost everything. It appears we are getting no spark from the coil, so we have another new coil to try, but other ideas would help, thanks.
MSD Blaster coils are an excellent upgrade for any IH ignition system; coil puts out 45,000 V, which is 15,000 more than stock. This unit has an oil-filled metal canister and will fit your stock mounting brackets.
26 Φεβ 2012 · I have recently picked up a 64 Scout 80 with the "monster" 152 - 4 cylinder. Anyways... When I picked it up it was turning over and pumping fuel no problem, so I figured it had just been sitting for a while and needed a little TLC on the plugs and maybe some simple replacement parts.
