Join us for an unforgettable adventure at Biology of a Sea Turtle Camp, where young marine enthusiasts will explore the fascinating world of sea turtle biology and ecology along the beautiful Texas coast.
Sea Camp is a week-long residential adventure exploring the wonders of the marine and estuarine environments for campers ages 10-18. As a Sea Camper, you will have access to research vessels, oceanographic equipment, laboratory facilities, and a professional staff enabling you to learn about the ocean through hands-on experiences.
Our trip continues to Texas A&M’s Soltis Center for Research & Education. Students will see the rainfforest ecosystem of the Arenal Volcano, study amphibians & reptiles, & take a safari down a tropical river. This camp involves hiking, kayaking, and a moderate fitness level is recommended.

The camps introduce students to research, field work, laboratory settings and the campus as a whole, and its impact continues to be felt across campus and marine and maritime industries.
