You can’t edit or replace any text, but fill, sign, copy, rearrange or delete pages is just part of viewing a PDF-file. Don’t even have to install acrobat or similar. Just started using windows at work and was pretty stumped about how unsupported PDF is in this environment.
Also, you can't add PDFs if there is already a selection.. Do you immediately need to select multiple PDFs when using the browse function? This is the only way that I can make it work.
On the open source side, Firefox has a fairly good basic editor. LibreOffice has a Draw program that works well. On the liteware side, just for speed and some of the great speed features, I like PDFXChange. I generally recommend against Adobe PDF, free or commercial.
