To use the override key to open your SentrySafe X125 safe in case of an emergency, follow these steps: 1. Locate the override key: The override key is provided with your SentrySafe X125 safe. It is usually attached to a plastic bag or stored in a secure location.
1. Tip the safe onto its right side (door hinges horizontal with the floor). 2. Unlock the safe and open the door. 3. Look on the bottom of the safe for two indentations in opposite corners. Using the 11 mm bit, drill a hole through each indentation perpen-dicular to the bottom of the safe (Fig. B). 4. Close the door and tip the safe upright.
Opening Your Safe for the First Time (Using the Override Key) Remove the cover located between the knob and keypad. Insert the override key provided and turn counterclockwise. Turn the knob clockwise to open the door. Turn key back clockwise to remove the key and replace the cover. on the door.
