Surviving Sepsis Campaign International Guidelines for the Management of Septic Shock and Sepsis-Associated Organ Dysfunction in Children was published in the February 2020 issue of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.

My septic shock happened in September 2016, when I was 36 years old. I've had extreme period pain since my youth and it only got worse after I had kids.
Septic shock has a high mortality rate. Early diagnosis and treatment by the care team are critical elements which inform treatment and impact recovery. Conall’s strength pulling through the harrowing experience of septic shock gave his parents hope that he could overcome his cancer diagnosis.
