I go through the Minecraft.net website to install Java edition. I sign in and click “install Minecraft for windows 10/11” which installs the installer but when I open the installer I accept the agreement and then click install to download the actual app.

What I've tried: Reinstalling Java/Minecraft Launcher multiple times. Deleted .minecraft and Local directories. Used wsreset on the Microsoft Store.

I had this same problem. First solution to play is to open up minecraft from the installation tab. If you want to fix that specific issue though there is a tab in windows settings for all apps, and if you open minecraft launcher and do the soft repair (save info) one then restart ur pc it should work.
