You will need a SWITCH edu-ID to apply online. If you do not yet have a SWITCH edu-ID, create one using your personal and permanently valid e-mail address (not a school or university address). You can then use the SWITCH edu-ID login data to log in to your online application user account.

The email address you receive with your HSG user account is used to log in to the HSG platforms, Microsoft 365 and the campus WLAN (eduroam). You only need your HSG username to use the VPN client and a computer workstation on campus. The login details and instructions for setting up your HSG account will be sent to your Compass mailbox.
The SWITCH edu-ID is a universal and secure digital identity for lifelong access to services in the university environment. The edu-ID is required at the HSG for user logon to a growing number of applications.
