3 Edu-ID HSG LinkingApp Guide. Start edu-ID HSG LinkingApp via the following link: https://tools.unisg.ch/url/linkingeduid. The linking of accounts is done in three steps: logging in with your SWITCH edu-ID credentials; logging in with your HSG account credentials; linking of the two accounts.
The SWITCH edu-ID is a universal and secure digital identity for lifelong access to services in the university environment. The edu-ID is required at the HSG for user logon to a growing number of applications.
The account will give you access to our digital platforms and services. You will receive your login details and set up instructions in your Compass mailbox. To set up the account, you will need to enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in Microsoft 365 and change the default password.
Create a SWITCH edu-ID user account with your personal and personal and permanently valid email address (no school or university email address). Then return to this page. Log in to the online application tool with your SWITCH edu-ID.
