Your card contains a Medicare number that’s unique to you, displays if you have Medicare Part A, Part B, or both, and the date your coverage begins. You can also order a replacement Medicare Card.
If you don't want us to automatically re-enroll you in a plan for coverage that starts January 1, take action no later than December 15: Log into your Marketplace account. Select your current year application — not the one for next year.
If your Medicare card was lost, stolen, or destroyed, you can request a replacement online at Medicare.gov. You can print an official copy of your card from your online Medicare account or call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227 TTY 1-877-486-2048) to order a replacement card to be sent in the mail.
