We returned $7.4 billion to our shareholders through dividends in 2022. The fourth-quarter 2022 dividend of $0.2875 per share will be paid on March 27, 2023 to shareholders on the register at February 17, 2023 and represents an increase of 15% compared with the third quarter of 2022.

The total dividend is estimated to be $1,998 million and is payable on March 27, 2023, to shareholders on the register at February 17, 2023. Shareholders will be able to elect to receive their dividends in US dollars, sterling or euros.
