I've finally narrowed it down to Best Western PLus Island Palms or the Bay Club Hotel and Marina. Both have received positive reviews and great ratings and their prices are comparable. I guess I'm looking for a push in one direction or the other as to which would be the best choice.

I've narrowed it down to Shelter Island and have been watching the posts on the Best Western Island Palms and the Bay Club Hotel and Marina. The reviews have been varying on both places. Both places' prices are comparable, but cleanliness is very important to us, and some of the posters have mentioned issues with both places.
