17 Σεπ 2010 · A detailed map of the battle field as it appeared on April 6, 1862, the first day of the Battle of Shiloh. The printed map was hand drawn in ink prior to being reproduced. The blue bars represent the Union army positions and the red bars represent the Confederate positions prior to the battle beginning.
