16 Μαρ 2024 · I try to sign in to the Microsoft Store to download an app. A new window pops up asking me to sign in. I put in my account name and it says " That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different account or get a new one." So I click "get a new one" and put in my account name (the one it says doesn't exist) and it says:
If I now try to setup my work account I can see the option in settings to add a school or work account, and indeed can do so. I put in my user name and password and after a few seconds my work account appears as setup. Great - except it does not work! 13 Δεκ 2023 · Then, in the account creation, use "local account." Don't worry; this won't affect your internet connectivity later, but it will allow you to create a user account that you can use. 29 Απρ 2024 · Please go to Settings > Accounts > Email & accounts > Accounts> Select the MS account that you are using on your apps and make sure that it is set to "Microsoft apps can sign me in". If it is already set or the issue persists, please try to remove the email and then restart your computer.

I'm the admin of my Microsoft 365 license (there's no other admin). I had two-step verification set up with a phone number I no longer use and now I can't access my account. Every time I log in from any device, I'm asked to enter a code sent to that phone number. I suppose my account will have to be reset externally. Hope you can help.
