As we search for frugal fashions, some online clothing companies remain poised to scam us. You know the ones; they constantly pop up as sponsored ads on Facebook and Instagram. The pictures usually don’t show the model’s head and promises these amazing designs for $10. 80% of the time, it’s a scam.
Turns out it's ran by a company that runs dozens of similar sites, and just drop ships cheap stuff. When a site gets too many negative reviews (which they all have), they just shut it down, and spin it up again as a new company. A quick image search shows the same clothing on other lousy wholesalers (the same ones that rule four is talking about).
Don’t use this company. I ordered a dress, style and colour good but that’s all. Dress had several defects including a matted chunk of threads hanging off and frayed piping on the bodice. I contacted Simply Dressed for a replacement. Instead was offered $25 for myself to arrange repair.

A few complaints I had- The basics are really overpriced ($60 for a thin, basic long sleeved shirt) and the dresses are a little expensive even at the most restrictive budget level.
Have you ever gone out on a limb and bought clothing from an unknown brand advertised on Instagram/Facebook/online? How did it work out? At the moment I'm getting Facebook ads for modest wear (not sure why the algorithm is going that way) and I'm sorely tempted to try out that clothing style.
