Also, click on the Custom Content star under the Display Custom Content at Startup option and confirm that Custom objects are currently enabled, then restart the game. Double-check that all your Mods and Custom Content have been extracted from RAR and ZIP archives into your Sims 2 Downloads folder, in case they came in them.
When you're in-game, go to Game Options and click the CC star icon under Display Custom Content Dialog at Startup. The popup that shows up should have an option to Enable Custom Content. Back in Game Options, make sure that Catalogs Display Custom Content is also enabled.

29 Δεκ 2019 · I recently bought the sims 3 disc version and I tried to add custom content to it, or well, mods. Only one hair, a sims3pack is showing up and I've tried numerous ways to try and fix it by using tutorials and looks at fourms.
Recently, I switched back to TS3, and I wanted updated clothing & furniture for the game. After following the Wiki, my CC still wasn’t showing up. Today, I discovered that Windows was blocking my files because they “came from another computer.” (??) The fix is pretty easy — but tedious: Click Apply & OK, or just OK. TA-DA! CC shows up in-game!
The Clean Installer should (unless you have the UC, or have set different settings) install sims in SavedSims, house templates in the Temp folder (installs into the Lot folder when you start the game), and house CC in the Downloads folder. If you have the UC, you'll have to fix the path, or it won't install files properly.
Normally, you should be able to. There is either a problem with a certain setting or with the CC. Maybe try deleting cache files as well, as it could solve some bugs. It’s mostly miscellaneous buildings and a sky mod. I even checked the catalog and couldn’t find anything I downloaded.
