I love pets! Especially if you play on free will, the sims bond with their pets really easily. I also love to give my pets jobs and leveling up their skills. Also also, I've become a bit addicted to downloading different breeds to get a bit more variety.

The Sims 2: Pets is the fourth expansion pack in The Sims 2 series of games published by Electronic Arts. It was also sold as a stand-alone game for several consoles. The Sims 2: Pets was announced on July 26, 2006 and released on October 18, 2006 in North American and via download, as well as on October 20, 2006 in European regions.
Here is the video game “The Sims 2: Pets”! Released in 2006 on Windows, it's still available and playable with some tinkering. The Sims 2: Pets is an addon for The Sims 2 , you will need the original game to play.
Download the 4GB patch tool here. Once downloaded, put it in a file folder for later use (it can be used for other games). Run the exe. Search for your sims file inside the “Mansion and Garden” folder. You should now be able to play The Sims 2.
