8 Οκτ 2024 · ECG features of normal sinus rhythm. Regular rhythm at a rate of 60-100 bpm (or age-appropriate rate in children) Each QRS complex is preceded by a normal P wave. Normal P wave axis: P waves upright in leads I and II, inverted in aVR. The PR interval remains constant.

Learn the definition, physiology, criteria for sinus rhythm, with emphasis on ECG interpretation. Arrhythmias from the sinoatrial node are also discussed.
Sinus rhythm (which is the normal rhythm) has the following characteristics: (1) heart rate 50–100 beats per minute; (2) P-wave precedes every QRS complex; (3) the P-wave is positive in lead II and (4) the PR interval is constant.
8 Νοε 2021 · What is a Sinus Rhythm? This page provides an introduction to sinus rhythms and links to our EKG interpretation courses and drills. A normal sinus rhythm refers to both a normal heart rate and rhythm. Normal heart rates are from 60 to 100 beats per minute.
A cardiac rhythm strip only indicates normal sinus rhythm (NSR) when all of the following criteria are fulfilled: The rhythm is regular with consistent R-R intervals. Atrial and ventricular rates between 60 – 100 beats per minute (bpm) Each QRS complex is preceded by a distinct P wave.
10 Αυγ 2022 · Normal sinus rhythm (NSR) is the rhythm that originates from the sinus node and describes the characteristic rhythm of the healthy human heart. The rate in NSR is generally regular but will vary depending on autonomic inputs into the sinus node.
By convention, the normal sinus rate is defined as 60 to 100 bpm. The term normal sinus rhythm implies depolarization by the SA node at a standard rate with normal atrial depolarization, followed by transmission through the AV node and His-Purkinje system to the ventricles (Figure 14-3).
