2023 Fall Program. The "Wednesday" marching show is a mesmerizing journey divided into four captivating movements, each uniquely enhanced by its musical selection. The haunting melody of "Paint it Black" initially sets the stage with an air of mystery and intrigue.
The marching band is an after school elective that takes place from August through December. It starts in August with band camp, which is where most of the practice and learning takes place for the entire season.
31 Οκτ 2023 · The Mount Pleasant High School Goin’ Gold Band competed against 17 bands in the Area round of the UIL 5A Area C Marching Competition on Saturday, October 28 at Mesquite Memorial Stadium. At the end of prelims, MPHS was named a Top 10 Area Finalist sitting in 5th place, just one point behind 4th.
