31 Αυγ 2007 · I suppose makes sense, in that it follows the flow of the radiator ? I took my existing KA hoses and just trimmed to fit them, since the original CA stuff is for RHD and can't be used as-is. Then had to replace them when they leaked and trim to fit again.
12 Φεβ 2008 · Hot water rises so, hot water goes from head to heater and back in at bottom hose. Water pump pumps water out through thermostat housing and into top of rad where it sinks as it cools and back in through bottom hose.
2 Νοε 2019 · Is there a coolant flow diagram for the 1.8T? I just replaced my coolant flange and temp sensor on the side of the head, but it doesn't appear that I'm getting a lot of coolant flow through the radiator.
19 Αυγ 2020 · I need schematics for coolant/water line for the AWV/AWP 1.8T in the 2003 beetle with AC deleted. I am in the end stages of a full tear down and rebuild, I have all new silicone water lines and need a diagram to assist with it.
9 Δεκ 2013 · Here is a diagram for the 1.8t (AEB, ATW, but others are similar). I put a red circle where the thermostat is. 13 is commonly referred to as the coolant flange, where the coolant temp sensor sits as well.
8 Μαρ 2010 · My least-favorite task in Miata maintenance is the replacement of the 4 small coolant hoses on the 1.8l NA cars. Two are hidden under the intake manifold and are as inaccessible as almost any other part.
