21 Απρ 2024 · In addition to solving tricky puzzles, you'll need to find 4 artifacts, including the Saarthal amulet. But once you retrieve the amulet, you'll wind up in a trap! We'll show you how to use the Saarthal amulet to escape the trap and continue on the quest. Part 1.
The Saarthal Amulet is an amulet found in its eponymous location. In appearance, this amulet is identical to an ancient Nord amulet, though it weighs slightly less. It reduces the magicka cost of all spells by 3%. When you enter the ruins during Under Saarthal, Tolfdir will assign you to help Arniel
There’ll be a handful of Enchanted Rings on the ground for you to pick up and an amulet attached to a runic plate on the wall. When you loot the amulet, some spikes will raise behind you, and you’ll be trapped. To solve the puzzle, you need to equip the amulet you just picked up and use a spell on the tablet that you took it from.

Meet Tolfdir and the trainees outside Saarthal. Follow Tolfdir into the ruins. Find Arniel Gane and help him find some artifacts. Use the Saarthal Amulet to escape the trap. Follow Tolfdir deeper into the ruins. Discover the danger within Saarthal. Talk to the Arch-Mage and receive your reward.
Do as instructed and use the amulet to escape the trap by equipping it, then cast a spell (any spell) on the wall where the amulet was. I think tc was saying that the bars were up BEFORE...
To escape the trap, wear the amulet, then simply shatter the wall where you found the amulet. The bars will then be raised so go back out and speak to Tolfdir. He will ask you to follow him to explore Saarthal further.
