   Yesterday, I made a post asking if Gens Ace LiPOs are worth the money, and someone suggested I get a 7600mah SMC LiPO that I can get a TRX connector for, but I’ve done a bit of research and already have seen a lot of people saying the puff really bad.

   I have seen other racers with SMC (widely considered a very reputable brand) that are under 6mth old that are puffed and a fire hazard. How you treat, store, charge, discharge your batteries has way more effect on them than what name is on the label.

   25 Μαρ 2019 · I'd recommend at least having a look at Turnigy Nano-Tech Plus Lipos and Turnigy Graphene Lipos. I buy those from Hobbyking. Premium Member! Save your money, SMC not that great in my opinion. I have 4 SMC packs and they are the slowest packs I have, 3-4 mph slower than same cell/mah packs from HobbyPower and Turnigy I also have. Scotland, UK.
