The following instructions provide the proper method for attaching the Smith Enterprise Inc. M14 Scope Mount to an MIL- SPEC US Government M14/M21 Rifle. Installation is to be performed by a qualified US Military Armorer (US Army 45B / USMC 2112).

4 Αυγ 2010 · There are two set screws that keep the guide secure in the slot and an additional bolt that secures the mount to the guide on the Sadlak. There is only the bolt that secures the mount to the guide on the SEI. There are other minute differences as well. Here is a comparison of the Sadlak mount to Brookfield (very similar to the SEI) mount.
This mount addresses the problem of how to effectively mount an ACOG scope on the M14 rifle. Detachable MIL STD 1913 rail component allows use of standard issue Picatinny rail optical systems. Marked “US Property” and “Smith Ent.”, along with above NSN.
