Help support families and children through our Pop Tab program by collecting and donating the aluminum tabs you pull to open soda, soup, and other cans. Our Pop Tab program is one of the most popular way to get kids involved in learning to help others and donating to charity.

Educators involved in Pop Tab Pandemonium will receive an email from Volunteer Coordinator Stephanie Smith Duncan with details to ensure your students’ efforts are properly acknowledged!
Your aluminum can tab donations help light the way for families at our House. Thanks to schools, businesses, community organizations, and families like yours, we recycled approximately 35 million pop tabs last year, and the money from those donations helps pay for our electric bill each month.
That cashes out to about $10,000 for our charity! So the next time you grab popcorn and a can of soda, remember to save the tab for us and the many families we serve. If you are interested in donating pop tabs, you can drop them off or mail them to either of our locations:

Learn 3 ways to recycle for RMHC St. Louis! 1. Tab Top Program. The Tab Top Program invites people of all ages to collect aluminum tabs from beverage cans to support The House that Love Built! Thanks to our friends at Didion Orf Recycling, the tabs are recycled and turned into a monetary donation for RMHC St. Louis.
We accept more than just soda pop tabs. The tabs can come from energy drinks, soup cans, or anything with a metallic tab. Our Pop Tab program is important because it provides extra revenue that can help make up for the donations that families cannot make.
