7 Σεπ 2018 · The props I have tested is a solas saturn 19pitch,solas titan hr4 in 19 and 17 pitch and last a mercury vengeance 19 pitch. The reason for trying mainly the solas propellers was that they are cheap(~300usd) compared to mercury propellers that starts at 500.

9 Αυγ 2008 · Trouble was, I couldn't get near one for less than $450.00. Solas makes all the propellers for BRP, the Viper, the Rebel, etc. THEY ALSO make these props under their own brand "Solas" under different names (e.g. BRP Viper = SOLAS Titan, BRP Rebel = SOLAS Lexor.)
17 Οκτ 2010 · After a good work out with the 20" Raker, I found a shallow bay and replaced it with the Solas 14 1/8 x 19" HR Titan 4, the subject of this review. I have concluded that even in the correct pitch, the Raker is the wrong prop on MY rig, especially in rough water where speeds need to be lower.
12 Ιουν 2022 · My local prop shop recommended a Solas prop, which he had ordered last fall, yet still had not received. He said they've had very good luck with them, and they are also considerably cheaper than a Merc.
10 Ιαν 2016 · The Boating Forum - Solas 4 blade ss props - I have a 23 wa with a Johnson 200 with a 15 x 17 omc 3 blade prop. My # are: 5900 max rpm 34 max mph. I was looking at 4 balde props to get me over the hump faster and improve my cruising by planing at lower rpm. The best value I found was the Solas HR titan. http://boatprope
25 Ιουλ 2016 · I have searched through the forum and did not find much on quality of Solas props. Would they be good for at least a spare prop? How do they compare to a Tempest plus of the same pitch?
14 Μαΐ 2012 · Are you saying the Solas aluminum is more fragile than other aluminum brands? I'm asking because I was planning to pickup a few cheap aluminum props to test different pitches and such with my new boat but the way I run I won't get on plane before hitting something.
