Solid hydrogen is the solid state of the element hydrogen, achieved by decreasing the temperature below hydrogen's melting point of 14.01 K (−259.14 °C; −434.45 °F).
23 Απρ 2020 · Solid hydrogen has a massive quantum zero-point energy (ZPE), far greater than its latent heat of melting, and has a Debye temperature well above melting. These factors determine the behavior of hydrogen in the dense state.
11 Απρ 2002 · The vibron signature of the H2 molecule persists to at least 316 GPa; no structural changes are detected above 160 GPa, and solid hydrogen is observed to turn completely opaque at 320 GPa.
6 Οκτ 2020 · a Equation of state (EOS) for liquid and solid H 2 at selected temperatures. The green and blue solid line is the EOS of Phase I at 300 K and T m (melting point), respectively

27 Μαΐ 2007 · The low-pressure phase I of solid hydrogen, which consists of freely rotating molecules on a hexagonal close-packed lattice 2, transforms at pressures of about 110 GPa to the broken-symmetry...
