Trolley Trouble! I already fixed that and shared the bugfix for it, still around. Easy to find on here, it seems. The guide for editing the configuration files manualy was made to help folks who have underpowered systems like mine get the best out of their gameplay, and possibly fix any launching issues along the way.

when ever I press the save settings and launch sonic adventure 2 it always says InvalidArgument = Value of 18 is not valid for index parameter name: index. I just want be able to use my nintendo switch pro controller and I need to have been able to launch the game before with the launcher.
11 Φεβ 2019 · To fix the launcher, navigate to the Sonic Adventure 2 Steam folder, right-click Launcher.exe, and set its compatibility mode to Windows 7 or XP SP3 (Right-click, Properties, Compatibility Tab). Run the launcher, change the settings, and make sure to uncheck "Fullscreen."
Yesterday (December 31st 2019) I Downloaded sonic adventure 2 from steam and it took me nearly 4 hours to fix it since it had every problem I've seen reported. This will cover sonic2app.exe deleting itself, D3dx9_42.dll missing, and unable to make a save file.
when i booted up the game, i got a pop-up that said it was "unplayable" on the deck, but during that white menu, you can use the touch screen to switch "keyboard" to "gamepad". then youre fine. the "start" button is the three white lines button above the right joystick.

4 Σεπ 2023 · 7. At this point, you should be able to play pc games on Switch. Steam Play uses Steam Proton, so you shouldn't need to install DXVK for games to work. Unfortunately, it has been brought to my attention that x86 (32 bit) games don't work for the most part, but might be coaxed to by using Steam launch commands. I'll leave a site with the ...
