2 ημέρες πριν · This is the only state park campground located near the Russian River. The sites are mostly shaded by willows and are relatively close to a large beach for swimming and fishing. Blue heron, egrets, osprey, and occasionally river otters can be seen by the river.
Sonoma County’s thriving regional park system consists of more than 50 parks — including trails and open spaces — and encompasses nearly 60,000 acres. Parks run the length and breadth of the county, from Gualala to Bodega Bay , and from the Pacific Ocean to the Sonoma Valley .

Sugarloaf’s campground is located around a meadow along Sonoma Creek at 1,200ft elevation. View our campground handout for a map and rules and restrictions. Camping is great at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park in Sonoma County with space for RV's and tents. Tent rental, Glamping, group camping and picnic areas are available.
