Sony's G and GM lenses are the best, designed to excel with the A7R IV. Older lenses, or anything on an adapter, probably won't give you the performance you deserve or expect, but with the 20/1.8 G , 24-70/2.8 GM , 24-105/4 G and 70-200/2.8 GM I use, it's spectacular.
20 Δεκ 2017 · This A7R III takes the 42MP sensor of the old A7R II and puts it in a Sony A9 body, with the A9's newest processing and the A9's viewfinder, external controls and rear LCD. The A7R III is essentially an A9 with 42 megapixels that runs at 10 FPS.

The 'a' version is largely the same as the original α7R III but features some minor hardware upgrades, including a higher-resolution screen, as well as some minor changes like a new USB 3.2 port and cosmetic updates like removal of the Sony logo from the bottom bezel of the screen.
