22 Ιαν 2023 · As a player, the easiest way to get access to the blinded condition is through spells. Many spells offer blindness as part of their effects, if not the focus of its effect to begin with. Here are some examples of the spells that let you get the blinded condition onto your foes:
If the spell says "that you can see" then the caster can't cast that spell. If the spell requires a melee spell attack or a ranged spell attack, then the player rolls at disadvantage. Otherwise, the spell goes off without modification.
At the end of each of its turns, the target can make a Constitution saving throw. On a success, the spell ends. At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, you can target one additional creature for each slot level above 2nd.

The best option that comes to mind is the 'Blindness/Deafness' spell, which does one of the other on a failed Con save. Or, you can get creative and start throwing pocket sand around, or aim for a creatures eyes in combat to try and disable them
