Spironolactone tablets are usually administered in conjunction with other heart failure therapies.
1 Φεβ 2024 · For oral dosage form (tablets): Adults—At first, 25 to 100 milligrams (mg) per day, taken in either single or divided doses. Your doctor may adjust your dose as needed. However, the dose is usually not more than 100 mg per day. Children—Use and dose must be determined by your doctor.

For adults, an initial daily dosage of 50 to 100 mg of spironolactone tablets administered in either single or divided doses is recommended. Spironolactone tablets may also be given with diuretics that act more proximally in the renal tubule or with other antihypertensive agents.
