This article details how to splash. Splashing is the act of training magic by casting combat spells against an enemy while having too low magic accuracy to be able to actually hit. Although no damage is dealt, each Magic combat spell will still give the player a constant base amount of experience.

Jewelled Crab. The gems on its rocky carapace are glowing dimly. Jewelled Crabs are found in the crab puzzle room within the Chambers of Xeric. These crabs cannot be killed by conventional combat. However, the crystals which are on the crabs can be attacked in order to change their colour.
