Fronting on Jackson Square in the heart of the French Quarter, the historic St. Louis Cathedral plays host to an annual holiday tradition of staging free concerts by prominent New Orleans musicians, church choirs, and singers in the jazz, classical, gospel, and pop genres.

Visit. St. Louis Cathedral is open daily from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Self-guided brochures are available in the entrance for a $1.00 donation. On occasion, the Cathedral closes to visitor tours due to special events such as weddings. Please check our calendar to ensure your visit aligns with our event schedule.
Under the leadership of Sarah Jane McMahon Briscoe, Director of Sacred Music, and Jesse Reeks, Principal Organist and Music Consultant, the choir serves the Cathedral parish and offers several concerts throughout the year as well as providing music for various Archdiocesan celebrations.
