Australia restricts the quantity of liquids, aerosols, gels and certain powders you can carry on board international flights. These restrictions apply when: • leaving Australia • transiting through Australia to another country • travelling on the domestic leg of a flight departing from an Australian international terminal
These new rules are needed to protect you from the threat of liquid explosives. Each container of liquids, aerosols or gels in your carry-on baggage must be 100 millilitres or less. All the containers must be sealed in a transparent, one-litre plastic bag. You are only allowed one bag.

Please be reminded that alcohol is subject to liquids, aerosols and gels (LAGs) restrictions. You cannot board your flight with a bottle or container of alcohol exceeding 100ml in your carry-on luggage.
