27 Αυγ 2015 · For programs that are appearing in the start menu "All Apps" section, I can certainly put a shortcut on my desktop and do "pin to start" or "pin to taskbar" and it all works as expected.
11 Αυγ 2015 · In the end, I discovered that the Start Menu hides duplicate shortcuts that point to the same file. Suppose you have a shortcut named Shortcut-A at the root level of the menu file structure (C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs) which points to c:\someprogram.exe.

18 Ιουν 2017 · I noticed that when I go to the Start menu > Windows Sytem > the Command Prompt icon is missing. I checked in this folder: C:\Users\david\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\System Tools. The command prompt shortcut is there. So logically, it should appear in the start menu. What's the deal?? Thanks. David
