The National Amphibian Atlas provides county-level distribution data for all amphibians in the US. The records are currently being updated. The last major update was 2021.

This is a list of official U.S. state, federal district, and territory amphibians. State amphibians are designated by tradition or the respective state legislatures. [1] As of 2023, only 28 states and one territory have a state amphibian.

3 Ιουλ 2018 · The United States is home to 307 amphibian species. Of these, 109 are frogs (and toads) and 198 are salamanders. 217 amphibians are endemic to (i.e. ‘only found in’) the United States.
