8 Φεβ 2016 · The Michigan Residential Code (MRC) is a set of regulations and standards governing the construction and maintenance of residential buildings within the state. The Michigan Residential Code 2015 is based on the International Residential Code 2015 (IRC 2015) with amendments and additions.
The IBC-2015, IECC-2015, IMC-2015, IPC-2015, NFPA 70-2014 listed in chapter 44 govern the construction, alteration, relocation, demolition, use, and occupancy of buildings and structures, and, with exceptions noted, the international residential code is adopted by reference in these rules.
