Right click the game in your steam games list and view cd key. When I right click a game in my library list there is no option to view cd key. This is true even of games which I did not buy directly from steam but bought a code and activated it on Steam.
If you are a publisher on Steam you have access to Query CD Key function that can tell you if the code has been redeemed or not.

3 Μαρ 2014 · In late 2019, Steam got an updated library which changed where CD Keys are in the library screen; there's no longer a "CD Key" option in the game's library page. Instead, on the library screen: In the game list on the left, right-click the game name. Click Manage. Click CD keys.
Make sure that the game has been successfully downloaded and installed through the Steam client. A key will not be issued on the Steam account until the download has begun. If the key is still not generating, please verify integrity of game files and restart the Steam client.
