Trolley Museum Hours of Operation: 9:00AM – 4PM daily. Trolley departure times are 10:30am – 12:00pm – 1:30pm and 3:00pm. Reservations are welcomed but not necessary.
Museum Hours & Directions. The trolley museum building will be open seven days a week from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM throughout the year. Except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Days. The entrance is at 300 Cliff Street, Scranton, PA 18503 on the grounds of the Steamtown National Historic Site adjacent to downtown. (Exit 185 off Interstate 81).
Trolley rides are scheduled Thursday to Sunday at 10:30 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:30 PM, and 3:00 PM. Tickets for the trolley excursion are not available on the car itself and must be purchased in advance at the Trolley Museum.
Located on the Steamtown National Historic Site grounds, downtown Scranton, in a resplendently restored late 19th-century mill building, the Trolley Museum features interactive exhibits and displays including vintage trolleys. Tickets must be purchased 15 minutes prior trolley ride.
This local museum is right next to the Steamtown National Historic Site, and it’s well worth a walk across the parking lot while you’re there. Scranton was one of the first cities to have an electric trolley system, and this museum shows that history well.
