11 Φεβ 2023 · Working out the remaining frets is just a case of subtracting the sum of the previous frets you calculated from the scale length and repeatedly dividing by 17.817. The Stewmac calculator (and FretFind2D, LMII and many others) uses this method.
Enter the actual scale length of the last (traditional low E) string. The perpendicular fret distance is the ratio of distances along the first and last string that fall on a line perpendicular to the midline of the neck. This is used to control the angle of the nut, frets and bridge.
